Then it's time to sell your family's good companion, owner bought this gem of a sailboat in 2013 and have over the years made many fond memories with it.The boat is a fantastic ocean sailor that can be used for longer trips, or an afternoon after work with wind in the sails. A Maxi 999 fits most people, whether you are a first-time buyer or an experienced sailor. The boat is seaworthy and is well equipped for the weather and wind here in western Norway.

Owner has applied the necessary upgrades as well as improvements to make the experience more pleasant. Upon takeover of the boat in 2013, the bottom was sandblasted and treated, and the penetrations and bottom valves in the hull were replaced, as well as the sail drives and gaskets.

The interior design of the boat has also been through a small makeover, where I have received new cushions, as well as roof panels in the aft cabin. I have also installed new lamps in both cabins, with USB sockets that allow charging smaller electronic equipment e.g. mobile phones. The floor of the boat was treated by the previous owner and is still in very good condition. Gas alarms have also been installed in both cabins and one right next to the control panel for extra security, as well as a fire alarm. The boat has smart floor plans that contribute to good storage space for whatever you may need on the trip.

The teak in the cocpit was overhauled in 2022, where it was sanded down and stained again with brand new nates. The boat has a new stretch fisherman with aluminum protectors that was purchased in 2017. The sprayhood is relatively new (2015), and was removed for washing along with the boom cover in 2023. This year we have made minor repairs, including changing the water pump on the engine. The engine has followed regular servicing.
